Ideal Timing - The best time for your maternity shoot is between 28-35 weeks for a beautifully rounded belly. We recommend booking at the start of your third trimester to allow for flexibility if rescheduling is need.

As a Photographer, Early Childhood Educator, and mother, your baby's safety is my top priority., please read "In-Studio Newborn Photography Safety " Information .
Your session will take place in my home studio in Vancouver or in Surrey for Week-end Schedule only.
Feeding - Try to feed your baby 30-40 minutes before the session. Bring extra bottles (formula or breast milk), a pacifier, and any special props or toys you'd like to include.
Dear Mom, I know you may not feel quite like yourself right after giving birth, but I highly recommended taking a moment to capture a portrait with your Newborn while they'l still so tiny and new. I'll guide you through poses that flatter you and make sure any adjustments are made in post-processing, so you don't have to worry. These images of you and your baby will be some of the most cherished memories.
All Newborn Session are available from Monday to Saturday. You can reach out to me anytime during your pregnancy to share your due date, and I'll make a tentative reservation for you. Once you're home from the hospital with your little one, just let me know, and we can finalize a date and time that works for you.
For the best results, it's ideal to photograph your Newborn when they are less that three weeks old, preferably between 5 and 21 days. At this age, babies tend to curl up into those "womb-like" poses and usually sleep more soundly. After two weeks, setting them may become more challenging, and issues like colic and baby acne begin to appear.

Book 1 to 2 months earlier to give time in planning your cake smash session and prepare essential items on customized set-up. You can also choose to our Cake Smash Theme for sample and ideas.
Please avoid picking up chocolate cake or red icing since it doesn't look good during smash ( it looks like poo and blood).
I schedule the shoot after the baby's nap time, it's really important that the baby is well rested and ready to play.
Avoid decorations on cake, it might be a chocking hazard for the baby.
Bring his favorite toys, a cleaning wipes, small snacks and water in case the baby needs his break time.
Do not use fondant cake since its hard for the baby to smash. We recommend butter cream frosting.
