I’m Melda, the photographer behind Monreve Photography — a Vancouver family and children’s photographer, a mother of two, and a licensed Early Childhood Educator with a deep understanding of childhood and family dynamics.
I bring together over 10 years of family and children’s photography experience with more than 15 years of hands-on work with infants and young children in early childhood education. This background allows me to approach every session with patience, empathy, and a child-led mindset.
My family and children’s photography sessions in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland are calm, unhurried, and guided with care. I work at your child’s pace, using gentle encouragement and positive reinforcement to help children feel safe, respected, and comfortable in front of the camera.
I am certified in Childcare First Aid & CPR and maintain active credentials to support each child’s wellbeing. My studio is kept clean, warm, and thoughtfully prepared to welcome babies, children, and families.
You never need to worry about children “cooperating” or fitting into a timeline. My role is to support your family, follow your child’s cues, and create a peaceful experience where genuine connection can unfold naturally.
